WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT WHERE TO GO:
Please see the visual store directions here.
There is only one entrance which is located on Front Street. The entrance is through the front glass door by Nails Sincerely. Look straight ahead down the hall - the bookstore is at the third door on the left and down the stairs. There are stairs to and from the store. Unfortunately, there is not an elevator.
Parking is available on Front Street, on the side lot with access from Riverfront Parkway and at the free parking garages - if you would like assistance bringing in, please keep reading as where to park will be affected.

ASSISTANCE UNLOADING AND CARRYING IN WILL BE AVAILABLE:
If you would like assistance bringing in your books please do the following:
1. If you are able to come down the stairs, come to the bookstore before bringing anything in and let us know. Someone will come back out to your car with you to assist.
If you are not able to come down the stairs, TEXT (do not call) 234-414-4145 at least 30 minutes before you arrive, and then when you arrive let us know your parking location and someone will come to you.
2. Park on Front Street between Portage Trail and Broad Boulevard. We will feed your meter for you if necessary. If you cannot find parking on Front Street on this block, Riverfront Parkway side lot is the next option. The blue or red deck parking garages are the last option ONLY for small drop offs that need assistance - no more than one box or two bags, securely packed as we will only be able to make one trip to your vehicle.

HOW TO PACK THE BOOKS:
Properly taped boxes or intact/secure bags only. No tubs or crates, please.
Nothing heavier than 25 pounds per box/bag.
If you need your boxes or bags back and have a large drop off of more than 50 books - text 234-414-4145 or email Danielle@ShelfLifeBookstore.com at least one hour prior to drop off and be able to wait at least 15 minutes for your boxes/bags to be emptied.
Please do not bring books in anything that is dirty, has been stored in a basement or garage, or has been left in a pet-heavy environment. This will help reduce allergens for staff and patrons, and consideration for clean boxes/bags is highly appreciated.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TRADE CREDIT FOR YOUR BOOKS:
Trade credit cannot be issued at the time of drop off or used the same day. All trade credit will be issued after the event for future use. Any books that cannot be resold will be put on the free stands or donated to one of the free libraries Shelf Life helps stock at various care facilities, schools and businesses. You will be contacted during the following week with the amount of your trade credit and can begin using it anytime thereafter based on trade credit guidelines listed here.
If you have more than 200 books you want to donate or trade:
Email Danielle@ShelfLifeBookstore.com to make individual arrangements for drop off or pick up outside of store hours
