How to enter: Fill out the form on your device, or stop in for a printed sheet. Send in your completed form via email at Danielle@ShelfLifeBookstore.com- please make sure you get confirmation, otherwise it may not have been received- or drop off at the store during normal business hours. One entry per reader, per list. You may do the challenge more than once, and will receive one entry per completed list. No duplicate titles between lists. Finish and submit by 12/31/26. Winner will be drawn 1/1/27.

Rules:

All books must be new to you and read between January and December of 2026 from start to finish. Books started prior to January 2026 and finished during the year, do not qualify. The only exception is one unfinished book (with more than half left to read) that you began prior to 2025. Note which book.

A book can only be used for one category. 12 different books must be listed.

Nine of these books must be adult reading level.

Three can be YA with an age rating of 16+ (please research books for this information). Note which books.

Eleven books should be full length, one novella permitted.

The Reading Challenge uses the honor system. Fairness for all readers is requested.

*Commemorative bookmark: The first 12 challenge finishers receive a free handmade commemorative bookmark. Additional bookmarks are available for $8 each.
